MARILYN JOHNSON, B.Sc., GCCP, is a trained facilitator and coach with practical business experience in sales and management.  She has worked in Canada, the USA and Australia. SETSALE INC., was founded in 1993 to offer marketing consulting, facilitation and sales training and coaching services.

Marilyn enjoys working with engineers and technical specialists who are in, or transitioning into leadership, project management or sales-customer service roles. She has made the transition herself and appreciates the challenges.  Her practical knowledge is relevant for firms involved with high technology, software or specialized services, measurement and SCADA software, instrumentation and controls, engineering consulting services, and well optimization technology.

Marilyn developed strong analytical skills through an early career as a toxicology and physiology research technician. A successful high tech sales career followed.  She sold industrial chemicals in Australia for 3 years, the first integrated desktop workstations, personal computers, software and networks for Xerox during 5 years. Later she enjoyed roles in sales, Sales and Marketing Management and Operations Management with a technical services firm in the oil and gas sector.

She has taught for PITS and Mount Royal College. She  develops her skills through continuous learning having completed courses from:
